The lid on the kibble container comes off while feeding the dog???
One HUGE mess
and a confused pup!
I went back to my LQS today to look at more fabric. I decided the Brown didn’t really go with the other fabrics…
Here is what I ended up with…11 lovely FQs
The lady at the quilt shop doesn’t like the pink plaid with the others, what do you think? I have no idea what I will do with all the left over fabric. I could use a few suggestions.
I also bought a 1/2 yard of fabric to go with the brown FQs
I couldn’t find anything else to go with them, so once again, I have no idea what I will do with 2 FQs and a 1/2 yard of blue and brown fabric!
I just signed up for the Friday Night Sew IN. I will be sitting at my sewing machine making some progress on the many project I have going right now. How about you??
Stop by Heidi’s block and sign up!
I have joined a Round Robin. I have decided on my block (Wonky Star), and I have bought my fabrics (think I am going to go buy a few more so I can make several more blocks). Now I need to get the blocks made and write up my instructions :) This is going to be fun, but also hard to wait a WHOLE year to see the finished product!
I joined a Quilt Block Round Robin. There are 10 of us so far, and we really need 2 more. If anyone is interested in joining you can follow the link to check it out.

I have finished my 1st circle of geese block. I realized about half way into this that I didn’t count right, so the quilt will be a little smaller that I had planned. Because of that, I will have a few blocks left over. I will be framing this one and hanging it on my wall in my sewing room. There will be another one just like it and I will be making it into a mini quilt/wall hanging. This will be used as a give away for my 150th post. I just realized last night that I passed my 100th post without knowing.
Before sewing the 4 parts together and removing the paper…
After sewing the 4 parts together…Not squared yet :)
Now off to make some more blocks!
Here is the 1st photo taken in 2010. It is of my Hubby and dog Kody watching drag racing videos online…
Here is Donna’s block. This was my 1st time to paper piece…in fact it was my first time to so anything beside sewing squares or strips together! I am surprised that it even resembles what it is suppose to be. Although I am not really pleased with the block itself. I wasn’t sure how to do the seams and they are messy, and 1 of the points don’t match up. I thought about ripping it all out and try again, but was afraid that it wouldn’t go back together and I didn’t have enough fabric to start over from scratch.I sure hope she isn’t disappointed with it.
To 2009. Seems like you arrived only yesterday and now it is time to say good-bye. You have been an interesting year full of many changes, but like all things, you too must come to an end. Tomorrow I will be greeting a new year, 2010, but until them I am going to enjoy one last day with you!
I hope everyone has a Safe and Happy New Year!
Top is complete. I just LOVE doing these Scruffy Quilts. I decided to do this one with 2 stacked squares instead of three. Super fast and super easy! I have the binding and backing fabric ordered. As soon as it gets here, this little baby is going to be my 1st 2010 finish!!!
After looking at it, I noticed that 2 of the strips were switched. I don’t know how that happened unless my hubby and dog were playing and the dog messed it up and hubby tried to fix it…oh well.
This is my favorite block…I love the black on coral :)
I just love the NEPTUNE line…I think it will always be my favorite!
