Date… February 15, 2010
Outside my window… The sun is finally shinning :)
I am thinking… How happy I am to see the sun
I am thankful for… the sunshine
From the kitchen… homemade chocolate chip cookies
I am wearing… my PJ’s STILL
I am creating… NEPTUNE scruffy quilt
I am going… to the store later
I am reading… Bible in 90 Days
I am hoping… to finish Neptune by tomorrow
I am hearing… Hunter watching TV
Around the house… It needs cleaned
One of my favorite things… a cozy new quilt (I finished V-day quilt FINALLY)
A few plans for the rest of the week:

• To get the house straightened up
• Finish the Neptune scruffy quilt
• Enjoy some sunshine
• plan  my next quilt project

Feb 8, 2010...
Outside my window... Still no sun :(
I am thinking... I wish I could go back to bed
I am thankful for... my family
From the kitchen... Left over brisket from last night, yum, yum.
I am wearing... red plaid pj’s and red hoodie.
I am creating... nothing. my sewing machine is still in the shop.
I am going... to Wal-Mart to buy batteries later…doesn’t that sound like fun???
I am reading... the bible in 90 days
I am hoping... for some sunshine!
I am hearing... silence
Around the house... it is quiet
One of my favorite things… Cranberry juice
A few plans for the rest of the week:

• I hope to get my sewing machine back. If I do I plan on finishing up a few quilts!

Outside my window... It is dreary and rainy
I am thinking... What a blessed life I have
I am thankful for... How blessed I am
From the kitchen... Left over brisket, yummy!
I am wearing... jean, white T, black flip flops
I am creating... Valentine Quilt, still :)
I am going... Joann’s to get more basting spray
I am reading... The bible in 90 Days
I am hoping... to finish this quilt soon
I am hearing... my iTunes playlist
Around the house... It is nice and clean (LOVE IT)
One of my favorite things... a tall glass of ice water, refreshing
A few plans for the rest of the week:

• My main plan is to finish this Valentine quilt.
• Take apart my NEPTUNE Quilt to adjust the layout.
• Take my son to get his drivers license.

Outside my window... The sun is starting to go down.
I am thinking... It has been a long busy day.
I am thankful for... I don’t have to cook tonight, we are having reconditioned leftovers :)
From the kitchen... Barbeque sandwiches from the left over rib meat from last night. 
I am wearing... Capris, black tee-shirt, and black flip flops
I am creating...A Valentine Quilt 
I am going... To bed as soon as I can :)
I am reading... The Bible in 90 Days
I am hoping... That tomorrow won’t be as busy as today.
I am hearing... The washing machine in the background.
Around the house... everyone is doing their homework and resting.
One of my favorite things... The family all home safe and sound.
A few plans for the rest of the week:

• To finish up my Valentine quilt and keep my sanity!

Simple Woman’s Daybook

FOR TODAY
Outside my window... It is blah and gray :(
I am thinking... I need to change my eating habits.
I am thankful for... The kids have a 3 day weekend.
From the kitchen... German Chocolate cake left over from Kyle’s Birthday :)
I am wearing... My old gray sweatshirt and bright pink polka dot pj bottoms.
I am creating... Several things, but top on the priority list are Navy Blue Wonky Stars for my hubby’s birthday quilt. 
I am going... I don’t have plans to go anywhere today.
I am reading... The Bible in 90 Days
I am hoping... The sun will shine soon :)
I am hearing... The kids playing games in the background.
Around the house... There is plenty of laundry that needs done today.
One of my favorite things... My 2 new quilting rulers.

A few plans for the rest of the week:

• To produce several blocks for hubby’s quilt.
• Get the house cleaned and laundry done.
• To reorganize my household binder.
