MIA & a Secret

I have been MIA from my blog the past few weeks and probably won’t be posting much for a while. Things in my life are drastically changing and it is going to take some time for me to adjust. I have faith that in the end things will be for the better, but it is just hard. I will post more later. But I will tell you now that I got a job…my first job! I trained as a Medical Transcriptionist a while back before the Houston move…and well with all the changes I HAD to get a job. It will be the evening shift. I will be working after my kids go to bed and late into the night, but it is M-F, no weekends so that is a plus. I will be working on the same accounts (also a plus). I don’t start until the 1st of Oct so I have a little time to brush up on my skills and get stuff in order.

In other news, I have a VERY BIG and EXCITING surprise…I will tell you more when it gets closer. I was so excited when I found out. I really needed the lift with all that has been happening here… SO STAY TUNED! A little hint…It is QUILT related :)

I thought about training as a medical transcriptionist so I could work from home (hopefully). Good luck with the new job. And I hope your news is super exciting.

And I wish I could come over and sew with you and sit with you over tea.

Hope all is well with you and yours & congrats on the new job! I work as a medical transcriptionist and love it...though not quite as much as quilting! It works out well with kids and their schedules...but definately a balancing act!
