Today I spent the afternoon organizing my stash of patterns and Precuts. I have a really bad habit of purchasing precuts with a specific idea in mind and then forgetting. OR buying a pattern with a certain precut in mind and then forgetting. So today I decided to do something about it.
I slipped the pattern or a printout of the picture into the plastic of the Layer Cakes and Charm Packs…
I slipped pieces of paper with the name of the pattern I was going to use with the Jelly Rolls…
I added a print out of the pic for some of the Jelly Rolls…
I even printed out all the tutorials and inspiration quilts I had been saving for so long and added them to binders for easy access…
Feels good. Now I know which fabric is called for and which fabric is not :)

Ohhhh.....Love it girl. I remember you saying something about that before. That is a great idea :) I need to buy some precuts, I always buy yardage because thats what my mom buys and then I have to cut it...yuck! lol

Rene, I think you're amazing to be so organised. You have no idea how jealous I am of all those Moda jelly rolls. Wish they were so easy to access here in UK. Your quilts are lovely!

I do the same thing, but sometimes a new pattern comes along and everything goes out the window!
