BFF Quilt Update

I was able to piece both mine and my BFF’s quilt tops yesterday…The 2nd one went a lot faster since I already had the 1st one done. I didn’t have to figure out placement and all that (because lets face it, that is usually the hardest part). There are a few subtle differences between the 2 quilts so I can tell them apart. Now I just need an idea for labels…this is where you come in! Please comment with a label idea (type, shape, and saying).

Not the best picture, but it is sort of hard to photo 2 quilts laying out on the floor in 1 shot! So it is what it is :)

Now comment with those label ideas!

Quilts are like friends - a great source of comfort.

Good friends are like Quilts. They age with you, yet never lose their warmth.

A good friend is like a warm quilt wrapped around the heart.

Can you print out a picture (on fabric) of the two of you the same size as the smaller squares on the front? Then frame it like you did on the front (assuming you have leftovers)

Cute quilts...by the way.

I keep my labels simple. Who it's for, who made it, the year, and the name of the pattern if there is one. If it's for her birthday you could add that. It's just such a personal choice as to what to include. The quilts look great btw! :0)

Those look awesome! Sorry but I don't do labels. I do a little tag (bought on Etsy) & then I quilt the date and other info. into the quilt.

I agree with the photo idea, being as you made them special for you and your friend. I've done that on some special quilts I've made. I've also sometimes had to put seperate photos on there if I didn't have any of the people together. Nice quilts, Rene.
Happy Quilting!
