Don't think of her as sick, think of her as going for a SPA treatment! She'll get cleaned and lubed and tuned-up and will be back soon! Everyone needs a little pampering and a getaway now and then.
Rene, what's your BFF doing to cause her to hiccup? I have the same machine, since June of last year so I try to stay on top of any problem areas.
I do hope she comes back to you soon. I truly understand how it's tough to part with our babies.
You can spend your time cutting out for a new project!

As Joan said... plan on doing some binding and other hand sewing.But hope she won't be gone for too long!
Aww man that sucks! I think I would cry too! You should try to hand applique, I have some patterns if you want to try it. Or you can pick up a kit from Quakertown and it has all the fabric already. Hopefully she isnt in the shop too long.

This might be a good time to convince the hubby to get you a featherweight to fill in the Spa days! (this way you can have a traveling machine for vacations and visits to friends)
